Beneath Your Steps

Female feet in the cold sea water. black and white

When misty dew begins to weep,
And silent rains in rhythm sweep,
Do you recall — with heart so light —
The ground you walked in calm and grace
It was me, who held you day and night...

When storms have passed and skies are clear,
And sunlight warms the moments near,
Will you remember, soft and true,
That through each step, both strong and shy,
I stayed beneath to carry you...
