Whispers of You

Dark green pine trees in moody spruce forest with sunrise light rays shining through branches

A soft breeze stirs the morning light,
Carrying warmth, so pure, so right.
It brushes gently through my soul,
With love that makes the broken whole.

I gaze upon the river's gleam,
Its flow a calm and tender dream.
In every wave that passes through,
My heart, once still, now speaks of you.

The leaves that sway in silent grace,
Remind me of your calm embrace.
Each petal's touch, each gentle hue,
Carries echoes  soft and true.

The golden sky at break of dawn,
Whispers how your light lives on.
Though miles apart, I feel you near,
Your silent song, I always hear.

So when the wind begins to rise,
And teardrops gather in my eyes,
I smile through longing, soft and true
For every breeze still brings me you.
